The Troubled Photographer

I’m a professional Manchester photographer based in Bury. Capturing the love of the street, bands, people and portrait photography are my absolute passions, as well as providing expert commercial photography for brands. I love making art with my work, that is the art of holding a single moment, for an eternity.

The name The Troubled Photographer comes from having a mental health breakdown caused by a traumatic experience some time ago. During a meeting with a therapist, she asked, “What do you like doing in your free time?” After some time, my response was “I used to like photography” That’s when I picked up a camera again.

My photography style has been described as turning ordinary into extraordinary with the innate ability to make everyone look and feel beautiful in front of my lens. The images are often simple yet a complex blend of soul, drama, imagination and when required, technically skilled work.
